Anderselite is currently recruiting for an Architect to join a consultancy that specializes in Architecture, Urban Design, Infrastructure, and Transport Planning. This exciting opportunity for an Architect is based in their studios near Bridgend. The candidate must have previous experience working on Residential/Housing projects, ideally for national house builders/developers. The successful candidate does not have to be a registered Architect and could be an Architectural Designer, provided they have a strong residential background. Responsibilities include managing schemes from conception to completion, with strong Revit and AutoCAD software experience. Familiarity with technical requirements and a keen interest in net zero/low carbon/passivhaus projects are essential, as these are core passions of the business.
Architect Position Overview
1. Work on various residential, social housing, and housing projects.
2. Lead and manage projects from start to finish.
3. Liaise with clients and contractors.
4. Attend site visits.
5. Develop project briefs.
6. Manage projects from inception to completion.
7. Oversee single large or multiple small projects daily, organizing, directing, and monitoring the project team.
8. Bring enthusiasm and a desire to excel into the office environment.
9. Guide and mentor team members.
Architect Position Requirements
1. Several years of UK-based experience working on residential and housing developments.
2. Good knowledge of current legislation and ensuring project compliance with CDM regulations.
3. Ability to produce associated project documentation.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder and team collaboration.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is advantageous.
6. Experience managing multiple projects within strict timelines and budgets.
