**Important notice** In line with our redeployment policy, we’ll prioritise applications from employees who are under formal notice of redundancy.
We’re looking for a Senior Project Co-ordinator to support multiple different projects in Scotney Castle

These projects include supporting the development phase of the ‘Reconnecting Scotney’ project - a heritage lottery funded project at Scotney Castle by coordinating activities, managing communications, assisting with community engagement, and ensuring smooth project delivery.

This is a 14 month fixed term contract, working 22.5 hour a week, with hybrid working, 1-2 days a week at Scotney Castle on site.

What it's like to work here

This country house, romantic garden and fairy-tale castle are set within a beautiful wooded estate. Scotney Castle is a big growth property in the region, with the team working to improve the visitor experience and facilities. Family-friendly activities at the site include a natural play trail, den building and summer adventures. You'll need your own transport to get here, however this is an exciting time to join the team within a fast-changing and innovative location.

There are regular garden tours for visitors to get involved in and a beautiful walled garden selling local produce and plants. This is A Site of Special Scientific Interest with green-winged orchids and rare plants abound in the wild grass meadows.

What you'll be doing

You’ll work closely with various colleagues from the different sites you cover, including project managers, facilities teams and subject experts from the Trust’s internal consultancy. You'll organise and run the project team and board meetings, and be involved in procuring goods and services for the projects.

You’ll develop and handle the processes needed to collect and analyse information on the projects. And you'll regularly report on the progress of each of the projects you cover, on time and to a high standard.

A particular focus will be on explaining our work to the local community, and encouraging their involvement and support. To that end, you’ll work with the project managers and the community engagement team to produce materials, arrange meetings and answer enquiries.

Please see attached documents for additional information and the role profile, You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.
