Salary: £89.83 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: September 2025

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Wantage area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in education, support children's development, and contribute positively to their learning journey.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs
* Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive learning environment
* Help implement individual education plans (IEPs/EHCPs)
* Monitor and record pupil progress
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
* Encourage pupil engagement and independence in the classroom
* Have experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
* Be patient, caring and proactive
* Have a genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Hold a current DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
