Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality child care services across a range of responsibilities, carrying a caseload of the most complex cases.
* Undertake child protection investigations, acting as the lead safeguarding professional.
* Complete assessments and progress case plans as key worker for looked after children.
* Manage referrals and implement effective service plans that safeguard vulnerable children.
* Undertake child-focused assessments and manage complex cases including suspected abuse and neglect.
* Lead on safeguarding investigations in complex cases and represent the Authority in court, providing support to colleagues.
* Maintain professional case records and reports in accordance with practice standards.
* Participate in team duty systems to deliver responsive emergency services.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in social work.
* Current Social Work England registration.
* Significant frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
