The Best Connection Group are Recruiting a Senior Machine Operator to work at one of our Prestigious clients near Driffield
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
The efficient running of a particular machine. The quality of the products produced on the machine, the condition and upkeep of the machine.
Job purpose:
To set up machine with relevant spec. Ensuring machine is run correctly and efficiently. Carry out in-process adjustments to ensure machine is efficient and produce quality products. Ensure the line is supplied with the required raw materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output.
Duties:
1. Working in a safe and effective manner at all times and follow instructions.
2. ·Highlight any deviations to immediate Manager.
3. Fault finding and diagnosing machine issues to aid process efficiency and work with Maintenance Team to rectify any issues.
4. Make accurate records of activities to meet business requirement.
5. Liaising with other departments such as engineering, packing and quality to ensure we achieve the product desired by our customers.
6. Carrying out any other activity the business deems appropriate to ensure the effective running and maintenance of the plant.
7. Maintaining cleanliness of work area and machines using clean as you go and adhering to hygiene regimes to ensure working area is clean and clear.
Qualifications and skills:
8. Experience within a manufacturing environment.
9. Keen eye for detail.
10. Drive to achieve continuous high standard of quality and efficiency.
11. Good initiative.
12. Good fault finding and problem-solving skills.
13. Flexibility and a positive attitude to help drive the site forward in the future.
Job specifics:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday only - 3 DAY WEEK
Hours of work- (6.00am-18.00pm )
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £15.00 per hour
