Systems Accountant - Hybrid, London

A major UK public sector and government membership organisation is undertaking a significant modernisation of its financial systems and is seeking a skilled Systems Accountant to lead this transformation. This role sits at the heart of strengthening controls, improving processes and delivering high-quality system upgrades.
The Role
* Lead the upgrade and implementation of core finance systems, including expenses, purchase order and budgeting modules.
* Oversee system controls, user access and supplier management to ensure security, quality and value for money.
* Deliver effective training and support to users, ensuring consistent adoption across the organisation.
* Work closely with Finance, IT and project teams to ensure alignment and integration with wider system changes.
* Continually improve financial systems, documentation, controls and reporting processes.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong systems accounting experience in a large organisation.
* Proven background delivering major system upgrades or implementations, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency with reporting tools and Microsoft Office.
* Confident communicator able to train users and manage key supplier relationships.
* Collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines.
