Exciting opportunity: Supervising Social Worker – Fostering Team within Shropshire, earning £33.30 hourly. This ongoing, full-time role invites you to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to making a difference in Children’s Placement Service – Fostering, Support, and Development. Shropshire offers a hybrid-working model, enabling a blend of home and office work from our Guildhall building in Shrewsbury. A member of our established Support and Development service, you will work within the fostering regulations and NMS standards, bringing your wealth of knowledge and experience to this rewarding role.

What you will do:
* Supervise foster carers, ensuring all key areas of their role are discussed, recorded, and challenged where necessary.
* Carry a caseload of foster carers and complete all tasks aligned with the responsibilities of a Supervising Social Worker.
* Ensure all compliance for foster carers is current, accurately recorded on LCS, and that foster carers are supported with trauma-informed understanding and therapeutic principles.
* Be efficient in recording fostering annual reviews and presenting to the panel when needed.
* Attend team meetings, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a supportive team environment.
* Participate in a duty rota, supporting foster carers and conducting viability assessments as required, twice monthly.
