Smile Education are proud to be supporting a thriving SEND Primary School within the Bilston area, in the appointment of a SEND Learning Support Assistant.
The school wish to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their existing team on a flexible basis.
This role offers you the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis supporting pupils across different classes with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, MLD, SPLD, SEMH. Working alongside the dedicated class teachers you will support in implementing and maintaining a nurturing and calm environment.
About the Role:
* SEN Learning Support Assistant - (Bilston)
* Flexible work pattern – Part time or Full time
* Term time only
* 1:1 Pupil support – multi class based
* Working independently and as part of a wider team
* Preparing resources and learning materials
* Creating a nurturing and holistic learning environment for all pupils
About You:
* Must hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
* Ability to travel to Wolverhampton
* Confident in working independently in a 1:1 role
* Experience of supporting SEN children and young people within the last 2 years
* Be able to provide references covering the last 2 years, including interactions with children and young people
* Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
