Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Role Overview
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Generator Engineer to join our expanding team. What You'll Be Doing
* Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel generator sets across Northern Ireland
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on customer sites
* Fault finding, diagnostics, testing, and remedial repairs on generator systems
* Emergency call‑out support on a rota basis
* Planning spares and parts requirements for upcoming work
* Load bank testing of generator systems (electrical focus)
* Engine servicing and mechanical repairs (mechanical focus)
* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
What We're Looking For
Essential
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent (electrical route) or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent (mechanical route)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong hands‑on engineering and fault‑finding experience
Desirable
* Experience with diesel generator systems
* Fault finding, commissioning, or diagnostics on generator sets
* Knowledge of control panels and electrical systems
* Experience with engines such as Perkins, Caterpillar, MTU, Volvo, Mitsubishi, or Cummins
* Exposure to fuel systems, exhaust systems, or system modifications
