SEMH Learning Support Assistant – Chelmsford – £90 to £130/day – September Start Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the patience, empathy, and resilience to support learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive post-16 college in Chelmsford this September. This role is set within a further education environment, working with students aged 16+ as they prepare for the next stages of their lives – whether that’s further study, apprenticeships, or entering the workplace. You’ll play a vital role in helping learners overcome barriers, develop life skills, and grow in confidence. The Role: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to learners with SEMH needs, adapting strategies to meet individual requirements. Support students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them stay engaged, focused, and motivated.
