As a growing care group with 9 care homes across London, Essex, Herts and Bucks, a headcount of circa employees, and 2 developments in the pipeline, we are going through a busy period of growth. We have a new, exciting opportunity for a Care Trainer to join our Head Office team on a permanent basis. If you are an experienced care trainer, who is looking for full time work, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, supporting, and continuously improving training across multiple care homes, ensuring that all staff have the knowledge and skills to provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred care to our residents.
This is a regional role, so you must be comfortable travelling regularly between our homes. A clean, valid UK driving licence is essential.

About the role
The Care Trainer is responsible for delivering training across our care homes to maintain company and legislative compliance, the role includes, but is not limited to the following:
9. To deliver induction training to all new carers, monitoring progress and reporting on-going individual development needs
10. To deliver mandatory update and refresher training, utilising compliance data and ensuring that all training is delivered in a timely and efficient manner
11. To carry out non-clinical competency assessments
12. To deliver specialist and bespoke training requirements from across the wider department in conjunction with subject matter
13. To ensure all paperwork and training activity is recorded and maintained as appropriate and all company policy and legislation is adhered to
14. To keep up to date with legislative requirements, the curriculum and expected standards of practice to ensure accurate training delivery
15. To be responsible for the set-up and pack away of the training room, training equipment and training materials within the homes
16. To attend all relevant meetings to ensure continuous development of own self and training materials
17. To practice and promote the company vision, being a visible, competent and supportive role model by promoting best practice and the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
About you
18. Training accreditation – PTLLS or Award in Education & Teaching is essential to be considered for this role
19. Manual Handling (TTT)
20. Care Certificate (TTT)
21. Proficiency in training, presenting and group activity facilitation
22. The ability to manage a range of individual and group learning needs
23. Strong IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
24. Experience of working in the Health & Social Care sector
25. A full driving licence and willingness to travel to locations
