The role involves managing 80% exterior paints and 20% interior paints. The candidate will be responsible for cold calling and leading a team to generate leads from dealers, contractors, retailers, and architects for repainting sites, new buildings, bungalows, and commercial properties. The goal is to convert leads into our brand. The candidate will oversee one TTSI (off-rolls) and act as the projects head for the region.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop a strong and healthy institutional business to meet volume and gross margin targets.
* Provide best-in-class sales support to customers.
* Develop new customers to generate additional sales and increase profitability from existing customers.
* Maintain and improve key account management within the institutional segment of the paints business.
* Ensure compliance with product stewardship and SSHE requirements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Education:
Graduate or MBA with 2-3 years of experience in sales and direct customer handling, including project sales in institutional or industrial sectors.
Skills/Knowledge:
Proven sales track record in a role serving institutional clients, preferably in industries like paints, FMCG, consumer durables, lubricants, or tiles.
Experience:
3-4 years of relevant industry experience.
