Pharmacy Assistant Dispensary and Medicines Management
Full time Assistant Technical Officer in the Mental Health Pharmacy Team at Hafan Y Coed Unit, University Hospital Llandough. Duties include dispensing for inpatients and outpatients across a wide range of specialties in the Dispensary and supporting Medicines Management Technicians on wards, as well as providing a customer-facing role while covering the pharmacy reception.
Closing date: 21 May 2026.
The role will include 1 in 5 (Saturday or Sunday) and 1 Bank Holiday per year.
NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy service and Medicines Management for pharmacy support staff is required; training will be provided for candidates wishing to achieve these qualifications. NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or experience of working in a pharmacy is desirable.
GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English are required.
Desirable: ability to speak Welsh; Welsh and/or English speakers welcome.

Qualifications

Salary
£26,300 to £27,890 a year, Annex 21 applies at 75%.
