Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer Utilities to develop business across the UK, working closely with customers in a technical, field-based capacity.
This role suits someone with practical industry experience who is looking to move into a more commercial role while still using their technical knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
* Visiting customers on-site (contractors, utilities, merchants)
* Demonstrating equipment and advising on the right solutions
* Building relationships and growing accounts
* Identifying new opportunities and developing your territory
* Acting as the technical expert customer's trust
Skills and experience:
* Background as a fitter, technician, or engineer (pipelines, utilities, construction, mechanical, etc.)
* Good practical understanding of tools/equipment used on-site
* Strong communication skills - able to talk confidently with customers
* Ambition to move into a sales-focused role
* Full UK driving licence
