Who are we

Backed by an entrepreneur Accelerator programme, Hemming & Wills
is a young sustainable ecommerce home brand based in Manchester, UK.

H&W sells a range of home furniture, lighting and accessories exclusively online in the UK, with a focus on sustainable, wooden furniture.

The role

We're now looking for a growth superstar to join us at a very exciting time as we look to further grow and expand.

The Growth Lead, in either a 4 day or 5 day a week role, will act both in a strategic capacity and as an operational enabler to the H&W Leadership team including working directly alongside the founder, to deliver on agreed growth strategies and objectives.

You will have an entrepreneur/intrapreneur/co-founder solutions led mindset that is both strategic and data led and solutions orientated. You will be able to translate cross-functional business strategy and objectives, including marketing, ecommerce and operations, into effective delivery that facilitates profitable revenue growth.

This isn't your ordinary role, it's a fantastic hands-on opportunity to play a pivotal part in the growth of Hemming & Wills to help take the brand to the next level.

There is no one size fits all person who might be ideal for this role - you may be an emerging ecommerce star or growth/sales/business development head or lead or neither.

What's important is you are smart, switched on and know or will figure out quickly how to deliver effective growth strategies and solutions.

Ideal experience & skills

* Strategic enough to be able to create and validate concepts/ideas/business models and market positioning utilising/organising suitable resources as required
* Operational enough to be hands-on to effect/implement/galvanise delivery across cross-functional internal and external teams
* Smart, savvy, confident and senior enough to work with, manage and push back with all levels and all teams within a business - junior to senior
* Right hand person to the founder to manage and facilitate the pivot of the business to sustainable, profitable growth against agreed KPIs
* Solutions, growth led mindset
* A clear communicator
* Tech savvy
* AI savvy
* Data/analytical led
* Conversion focused/CRO led
* Customer focused
* Operationally savvy
* Ecommerce savvy and experienced
* Shopify savvy and experienced
* Website development savvy
* Brand/marketing savvy - familiar enough with all the various acquisition channels e.g. paid marketing, PR, influencer
