As Influencer & Event Manager you will play a pivotal role within our Brand Team, driving awareness and affinity for BEAUTY BAY and its owned brand, BY BEAUTY BAY. This role is focused on cultivating impactful, long-term relationships with top-tier creators, while leading large-scale seeding and sampling initiatives that highlight key product attributes and inspire content that resonates with target consumers. With a focus on expanding brand reach and visibility across diverse audience segments, the role also involves managing and developing a high-performing team to execute best-in-class influencer campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, creative thinker with strong leadership skills, deep expertise across all influencer tiers, and a passion for storytelling through creator-led content.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
* Own the execution of influencer strategies across key product launches and brand campaigns. Showcasing key product attributes and content strategies to Influencer the target consumer
* Lead scalable sampling and seeding campaigns to engage nano and micro influencers and drive mass awareness and trial.
* Develop tailored approaches for VIP and top-tier influencer partnerships, nurturing long-term, brand-building relationships.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
* Build, grow and maintain strong relationships with top-tier influencers, talent managers, and influencer agencies.
* Act as the go-to expert for influencer marketing within the business, collaborating with internal departments including Brand, Product, Content, and Social teams.
* Represent BEAUTY BAY in external meetings and industry events as a senior brand ambassador.
Team Leadership
* Manage and mentor a team of Influencer & PR executives and assistants, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and supporting career development.
* Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture focused on innovation, efficiency, and results.
Measurement & Reporting
* Lead the reporting process for all influencer activity, identifying performance trends and providing actionable insights.
* Measure campaign success against brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and customer acquisition KPIs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with Social, Paid Media, and Creative teams to amplify influencer content and optimise its impact across channels.
* Support PR and experiential initiatives
About you
* Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in influencer marketing, PR or social media, ideally in the beauty, fashion or lifestyle industry.
* Strong track record of building high-impact relationships with talent across all influencer tiers, including nano to top-tier creators.
* Proven experience leading or mentoring a team with the ability to inspire, manage workloads and develop talent.
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how influencer marketing drives brand and business growth.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in representing the brand externally.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive, creative, and agile – comfortable navigating change and driving results under pressure.
* Passionate about the beauty industry and deeply knowledgeable about digital culture and trends.
