Description
Lakeside View is looking to recruit an Activities Co-ordinator to join the team. The facility has 30 beds, accommodating both male and female patients aged 18 and above. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week.
Priory Lakeside View in Willenhall, West Midlands, supports 30 adults with acute mental health needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. We have two male wards in the main building and a female ward in a separate building. From admission into our acute services, we aim to support individuals to safely discharge back into the community, where they can continue to progress towards recovery in a less restrictive environment.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to our patients' wellbeing. We take a personalized approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key role in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of patients.
* Support senior staff with patient screening and assessments as part of care and therapy planning.
* Prepare, plan, and deliver group and individual recreational and occupational activities, observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to the assigned clinician as appropriate.
* Ensure the effective, timely, and accurate updating of clinical records, case files, and computerized information systems as directed.
* Contribute to surveys, audits, and clinical research projects by assisting with data collection, analysis, and presentation as directed.

This role involves shared responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of records, data, and information, ensuring all documentation is of high quality and compliant with regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have GCSE/O-Level qualifications (grades A–C) or a relevant NVQ Level 2, with experience in a related clinical or therapeutic environment.
