4x Teaching Assistants BS11 Full-Time and Part-Time SEN Support ASAP Start A wonderful Primary School in the BS11 area of North Bristol are currently seeking a number of Learning Support Assistants to work 1 to 1 with some SEN pupils across their EYFS and KS1 classes. This school is a 1 form entry school, where the team of staff are very supportive to each other enabling the school to provide the pupils with an inclusive curriculum and a chance to gain learning experiences inside and outside of the classroom. The Role There are 4 opportunities at this school for part-time or full-time positions. The roles all start in the new academic year within their Nursery, Reception and Year 1 classes. You will be working closely with the Class Teachers and SENCO to understand the needs and EHCPs for your 1 to 1 student, knowing how best to support them, building strong relationships and using your initiative to adapt lessons and environments. You will be expected to: Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to assess childrens’ development. Have prior experience working with children or in a school environment Opportunity to work 1:1 with SEND children. Use your knowledge and relationship to understand what the child may need Support with emotional and social development.
