Exciting New Opportunity in Llanelli Positive Behaviour Support & Autism Support Workers
We're thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new property in Llanelli, offering a spacious and welcoming environment designed to support people with Positive Behaviour Support and autism.
Positive Behaviour Support & Autism Support Workers will implement and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans, Active Support Plans, and Individual Person-Centred Plans to enable people we support to lead fulfilling lives. This will include supporting people to achieve their individual goals and maximise independence, choice, control, and decision-making. Support will be person centred and ensure dignity and respect for all people supported in line with Social Care Wales and Mirus Codes of Professional Practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team in a supportive and rewarding environment. We have both full and part time roles available.
About the home
Currently the house will be shared between two young men both living in their respective flats. Both young men enjoy going out on the bus to different activities and scenic walks to get exercise so there is a requirement for you to drive a manual car. They also love watching movies and interacting with others in short bursts. They will also require some support with shopping and domestic tasks such as cooking and maintaining a clean home, as well as some aspects of personal care. Both gentlemen have a diagnosis of autism and their routine is crucial for them. They both have PBS plans and staff are required to be PBM trained prior to working with them. This service will require 24 hour care for the gentlemen to ensure they are safe, these shifts could include sleep ins, wake ins, morning and afternoon shifts.
