Rate of Pay: £24.00 - £28.93 per hour Summary: An opportunity for an experienced Energy Manager to lead on energy strategy, management, and sustainability initiatives. The role focuses on delivering energy efficiency programmes, managing utilities, and supporting the Council's journey towards net zero. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Energy team and strategic work programmes Oversee utilities contracts, budgets, and energy usage across the estate Develop and implement energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects Manage climate strategy and support net zero targets Deliver renewable energy projects (e.g. solar, battery storage) Oversee EV charging infrastructure programmes Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in Energy Management or a related field Essential Requirements: Experience in energy management, sustainability, or infrastructure projects Strong project management and contract management experience Knowledge of energy systems, renewable energy, and ISO50001 Experience managing budgets and delivering large-scale programmes Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
