Occupational Therapist – Multi-Disciplinary Team
Location: Redbridge
Hours: 36 hours per week
Rate: £41.58 per hour
Working Arrangements: Hybrid Working
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Multi-Disciplinary Team in Redbridge.
The Role:
You will manage a varied caseload of approximately 4 cases per week, covering a mix of complex and standard OT cases. The role focuses on delivering holistic, person-centred assessments and interventions to support individuals to live safely and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Undertake complex OT assessments, support planning, reviews, and duty work
2. Assess for and recommend major adaptations, specialist and complex equipment, including manual handling solutions
3. Prepare sketches, read plans, and provide detailed specifications for major works
4. Work collaboratively within a multi-professional team
5. Manage, prioritise, and progress a complex caseload autonomously
Essential Requirements:
6. HCPC-recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
7. HCPC registration
8. Excellent knowledge and experience of major adaptations, specialist equipment, and manual handling
9. Strong understanding of the legal social care framework and housing legislation
10. Experience working within a multi-disciplinary setting
11. Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workload independently
