TeacherActive, a leading education recruitment agency, is delighted to be working with a fantastic primary school in Bristol to find a number Teaching Assistants to join their team. The school is looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to support students with SEN on a full-time basis. The students will have a mixture of additional needs. This role will start in September and will continue for the whole of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Your Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
4. Provide 1:1 and group support for students with SEN
5. Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
6. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
7. Help students develop confidence, independence, and social skills
8. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to meet student needs
What We’re Looking For:
9. Enthusiastic and compassionate individuals with a passion for SEN support
10. Experience working with children (preferred but not essential)
11. A team player with great communication skills
12. Patience, resilience, and a commitment to student development
