This is a part time position to tutor our students in Biology, Chemistry & Physics during evenings, weekends & school holidays. This is not a remote teaching position. All teaching will take place at our Tuition College, Longsight, Manchester, M13 0NW.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Tutor to join our dynamic team at The Tuition College. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching both Double and Triple Science at GCSE level/A level, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Candidates should possess a strong academic background in the sciences, relevant teaching or tutoring experience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. This role requires availability during evenings, weekends, and school holidays, when we run our Revision Courses.

Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in GCSE Science, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with potential to support A-Level Biology and Chemistry where applicable.
* Plan and teach lessons aligned with both Double and Triple Science specifications.
* Use a combination of provided resources and your own materials to deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned tuition that meets the needs of each student
* Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities.
* Monitor and report on student performance to parents/guardians, offering clear feedback and progress updates.
* Foster a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment that encourages academic growth and confidence.
* Collaborate with other subject tutors and staff to share best practices, strategies, and resources.
Qualifications:
* A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential
* Experience teaching GCSE Science (Double and Triple) is required; A-Level Biology/Chemistry experience is a plus
* Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are welcome and encouraged to apply
* A strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
* A passion for education and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed
* Ability to work during evenings, weekends, and school holidays
