We are seeking a Care Assistant who shares our passion for providing the best possible care for our residents and who can demonstrate professionalism and energy in the home.
Supports our commitment to providing the best possible care for our residents and our ability to make them feel like family within a loving home. We'd love you to be NVQ/QCF 2 qualified in Health & Social Care, but that is not a deal breaker. Ideally you will have had some care experience but this is not essential as we provide lots of training. In addition, you need to possess good communication skills, be a team player, be reliable and committed and have a natural affinity to older people.
Providing personal care to clients which is person centred and respects individual choices
Providing additional care and support as required when a client is unwell or towards end of life
Using personal knowledge and experience of working with those individuals to support the nurses in writing and reviewing care plans
Documenting care given, recording any changes and reporting these to the person in charge of the shift
GP, Social Services, Occupational Therapist, etc.
