About the role:
As a Stock Controller, you'll play a key role in managing and reconciling stock movements-especially across cold store environments-ensuring accurate data, strong coordination with external partners, and alignment with internal supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all stock levels are accurate and reconcile physical vs theoretical figures
* Investigate and explain stock variances; track movement history
* Coordinate product movements, including cold store dispatch
* Liaise daily with cold stores to align on inventory and delivery updates
* Maintain and update stock tracker sheets with accuracy and consistency
* Take full ownership of stock management processes
* Support a smooth and efficient supply chain operation
What We're Looking For:
* Prior experience in manufacturing or a supervisory/supply chain role
* Strong understanding of stock accuracy, numbers, and inventory processes
* Ability to manage tasks independently and take initiative
* Experience working with cold store operations (preferred but not essential)
* Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Food industry experience is a bonus, but not essential
