Job Description
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic teaching assistants who are passionate about supporting children through their education. We are recruiting for the Washington Area (NE38) starting ASAP.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the class teacher in delivering creative and effective lessons.
- Provide targeted help for individuals and small groups, ensuring every child can access learning.
- Assist with classroom management, preparation of resources, and learning displays.
- Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work in partnership with staff, parents, and specialists to meet the needs of all learners.
Requirements
- Has experience working with children aged 5–7 (or in a similar setting).
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Can adapt to different situations and respond positively to challenges.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Holds a minimum Level 2 TA qualification.
