What youll be doing:
The role of a multi trade operative will be to carry out a full range of customer focused high quality repairs maintenance and improvement works to Greatwell Homes tenanted and void properties.
* Undertake a range of general repairs and maintenance tasks within occupied and void properties using multiple trades and skills ensuring work is completed to a high standard. This may include but is not limited to; painting & decorating carpentry plumbing works plastering wall tiling general repairs etc. plus any tasks that may match your skillset.
* Provide and promote high quality customer care to all Greatwell Homes customers ensuring key communication with customers is carried out to keep them up to date on work progress.
* All undertakings of works will be in line with statutory requirements regulatory and technical standards customer expectations and organisational procedures.
About you:
* Experience of working within a Painting & Decorating role
* Ability to demonstrate Plumbing and Carpentry skills
* Experience of working in occupied domestic properties and dealing with customers including vulnerable people.
* Proven track record of complying with safe systems of work in areas accessible to the general public and the use of personal protective equipment.
* Ability to use hand held personal digital assistant (PDA) technology efficiently.
* Your physical fitness and strength should be such that you can lift awkward and heavy items subject to any reasonable adjustments.
* Strong knowledge of the use of appropriate trade tools and safe methods of use.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
