About You
You will help prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals that residents love. Demonstrating high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene is essential. You might maintain food supplies, assist with equipment, or clean spills, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
We seek a Kitchen Assistant with some kitchen experience, preferably with an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or the willingness to study for one. Good record-keeping, organizational skills, and the ability to follow recipes are crucial. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act if concerns arise. Training will be provided, and ongoing development is encouraged.
