Landlord Support Legal Solutions Limited in Ormskirk is a leading SRA regulated Solicitors, offering specialised, practical and cost-effective legal solutions to residential landlords. With years of experience, our firm specialises in assisting in residential tenancies with legal services to provide expert advice and solve difficult or contentious issues and doing such with market leading fixed-fees. We stay updated on landlord law changes and provide free initial advice to landlords of all backgrounds and property portfolios. Authorised and regulated by the SRA, we deliver advice that our clients can rely upon and always act in their best interests.

Role Description

This role has the option of being part time or full-time and is based on-site at our office in the centre of Ormskirk. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for legal document preparation, communication with clients and stakeholders, delivering administrative assistance and tasks, and supporting legal processes within the firm.

Qualifications

o Legal Document Preparation proficiency

o Strong Communication skills in person and on the telephone

o Experience in Administrative Assistance

o Knowledge of Legal Procedures

o Attention to detail and organizational skills

o Ability to work effectively in a team environment

o Previous experience in landlord-tenant law is a plus

o Able to manage multiple files and deadlines

About the Role

The opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic professional with an interest in landlord law and procedure has arisen due to the quick growth of the firm's client base. The role will involve:

o Dealing with all aspects of case management of current cases via the firm's case management system, including:

§ Telephone calls and correspondence with clients, the other side and third parties

§ Drafting documentation (following training)

§ Reviewing documentation (following training)

§ Arranging case advocacy via representatives

§ Setting up, maintaining, and closing out files

§ General administration

§ Ensuring financial management of cases, coordinating timely payments and receipts of monies, etc.

o Assisting with administration of potential cases via telephone and email, using the firm's case management system.

o Provision of initial advice.

o Fee earning on appropriate instructions (following training).

o Other responsibilities may be required on an ad-hoc basis, as well as some nationwide travel.
