Role Overview
The Logistics Coordinator works with the Logistics Manager to oversee the movement of goods within the supply chain, according to the specific requirements of each category. This includes managing suppliers, wholesalers, eCommerce, and stores around the globe.
Main Responsibilities
1. Liaise with freight forwarders/couriers to arrange collections and deliveries from both suppliers and customers.
2. Ensure stock accuracy when booking in on the company operating system and manage variances with suppliers as needed.
3. Report to customers regarding orders, shipments, and any queries they may have.
4. Work closely with the warehouse, prioritising customer deliveries, and ensuring all orders are prepared and shipped on time, with customer requirements correctly fulfilled.
5. Produce all shipping documentation, especially for international shipments.
6. Communicate cross-functionally across the company, reporting to key stakeholders to ensure all processes are followed and targets are met.
7. Manage customer returns and resolve issues.
8. Coordinate inventory flows for direct-to-customer channels.
9. Support logistical flows for seasonal fashion shows, events, and special projects.
10. Update and maintain warehouse stock levels.
11. Investigate, resolve, and process inventory discrepancies.
12. Assist in the continuous improvement of the VB ERP system.
13. Support the exit of excess inventory through sample sales.
14. Have experience in logistics within the fashion industry, including warehousing and shipping.
15. Possess a good understanding of shipping paperwork, international customs requirements, documentation, taxes, and duties.
16. Maintain a positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
17. Demonstrate strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
18. Exhibit excellent organisation and teamwork skills.
19. Experience with the ERP system Visual Next.
20. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with good Excel skills.
