A position has arisen to join our growing clients team in Great Yarmouth within our print finishing department. The right person will have experience in aspects of print finishing including cutting, folding, die-cutting, laminating and stitching.
Experience of running finishing equipment in a commercial environment, a hands-on approach and a positive mindset are essential!
Print Finisher
Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
Salary based on level of experience
40 hr week, double-day shift pattern (Early shift: 05:00 – 13:30 Mon-Thurs, Friday 05:00 – 11am. Late shift 13:30 – 22:00 Mon-Thurs, Friday 13:30-17:00)
Permanent, fulltime position
Opportunity to work overtime, potentially occasional weekends and night-shifts during peak times.
Responsibilities:
* Run and operate various finishing equipment, including Autobond Laminator, Heidelberg Cylinder, Polar Guillotines, and various folders/stitching lines/booklet makers.
* Making sure that orders are processed within the deadlines set.
* Perform general housekeeping duties and ensure your machine is maintained to a high standard.
* Troubleshooting issues with equipment and resolving.
* Ensure the output is of the highest quality, working with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements for the role:
* Previous experience of working in a commercial print bindery/finishing department is essential.
* Willingness to be flexible and enthusiastic with approach to work.
* Understand and carry out instructions.
* Quality conscious and contribute to productivity targets.
* Attention to detail with ability to remain calm when working under pressure.
* Comfortable working a varied shift pattern, typically double-day shifts.
