We are offering several opportunities for experienced full-time Social Workers to join Rochdale Borough Council within the community mental health teams (CMHT) covering Rochdale. Applications are welcome from Social Workers with at least two years of post-qualifying experience.
The Job:
This role focuses on Adult Social Care priorities, including: care act assessments, commissioning services, mental capacity assessments, and safeguarding enquiries. The role involves working in partnership with CMHT clinical staff and Pennine Care NHS Trust.
Essential Professional Requirements:
* Qualified social worker
* Registered with Social Work England
Knowledge and Skills Required:
* At least two years post-qualifying experience in Adult Social Care
* Experience in direct work with individuals, care act assessments, commissioning support, mental capacity assessments, safeguarding, and carer assessments
* Knowledge of secondary mental health care pathways and risk management
* Experience with social circumstance reports for tribunals and hearings
* Understanding of relevant legislation and its practical application
