What you will be doing:
* Create and maintain high‑quality design documentation (HLDs/LLDs).
* Ensure content is consistent with architectural standards, security principles, and governance requirements.
* Support design assurance and act as the go‑to expert for documentation queries.
* Develop templates, standards, and best‑practice guidance.
* Produce operational and service documentation for seamless transition into support.
* Coach engineers to improve documentation capability and consistency.
What You’ll Bring:
* Strong technical writing skills for both technical and operational audiences.
* Experience producing policies, processes, procedures, and templates.
* Ability to convert complex technical detail into clear, structured documentation.
* Hands‑on experience supporting HLD/LLD creation.
* Comfortable working within structured governance and assurance frameworks.
* Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
It would be great if you had:
* Experience in PRINCE2, PMI or project‑delivery environments.
* Background in service delivery or customer‑facing roles.
* Technical qualification (, Computer Science).
* Familiarity with MoD/JSP standards, Secure by Design, and NCSC guidance.
