* Position: Product Quality Engineer
* Location: Bradford
* Salary: £18.34 - £19.43 per hour (DOE)
* Shift: Days
* Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a small team of quality inspectors
* Manage batch, first-off and in-process inspection activities
* Program and operate CMM/GMM equipment (training available on specific systems)
* Evaluate inspection results and escalate non-conformances
* Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection of precision components
* Use a wide range of inspection tools (micrometers, air gauges, height gauges, etc.)
* Support defect identification (MPI, ultrasonic testing, chemical etching, surface checks)
* Communicate quality issues effectively with production teams
* Maintain inspection records, documentation and traceability
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
* Background in precision engineering / machining environment
* Proven CMM programming experience
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings & GD&T
* Experience working to tight tolerances (micron level)
* Knowledge of quality processes (FAIR, PPAP, APQP, SPC, NCR)
* Ability to identify machining defects and root causes
* Comfortable leading or supporting a small team
* Good IT skills and attention to detail

o Mon-Thurs: 07:00 - 16:00
o Fri: 07:00 - 12:00
* Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours
