Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?
We're recruiting on behalf of a client for caring, resilient, and committed Support Workers to join a dedicated team in an Ofsted-registered residential home for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to be part of a supportive, positive, and nurturing environment where every day brings the chance to change a young person's future for the better.

The Role:
Working closely with the Senior Residential Care Worker and wider team, you'll provide high-quality care that promotes the health, welfare, education, and development of the young people in your home. Your responsibilities will include:
·Creating a safe, warm, and homely atmosphere.
·Supporting daily routines, from household tasks to school work, appointments, and leisure activities.
·Building positive relationships and acting as a consistent and trusted role model.
·Contributing to care plans and supporting individual needs as a key worker.
·Using de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive outcomes.
·Collaborating with parents, social workers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible support.

Hours:
You'll work a rolling rota of two days on (7:00am-11:00pm, including shared sleep-ins) followed by four days off.

What We're Looking For:
·Experience working with young people (residential care experience is an advantage).
·Understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties and a commitment to helping young people achieve their potential.
·Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries.
·A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people to thrive.
·Full UK driving licence (essential).

Qualifications:
·QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).

Why Join?
You'll be part of a friendly, committed team where your input is valued, your professional growth is supported, and your work truly matters. Training is provided, along with opportunities to develop your skills and progress in your career.
If you have the resilience, empathy, and dedication to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
