Role: Finance Manager

Were partnering with a dynamic and growing business to recruit a Finance Manager a strategic yet hands-on role thats ideal for someone who enjoys full ownership of the finance function, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isnt afraid to get stuck in.
Youll be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with Directors to shape business strategy, manage a small finance team (including an experienced Accounts Assistant), and oversee everything from financial reporting to long-term planning with the freedom to run the department your way, without micromanagement.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
Lead all aspects of financial planning, reporting and budgeting
Partner with Directors to drive strategic decision-making
Oversee daily finance operations including AP/AR, payroll, pensions and cash flow
Provide financial modelling and scenario planning
Monitor costings, margin improvements and inventory
Ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements
Manage banking relationships and external stakeholders
Develop and implement scalable finance systems and controls
Lead and support a team of two, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
What Were Looking For From A Finance Manager:
Previous experience working as a Finance Manager or similar role
Formal qualifications / part-qualified preferred (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) qualified by experience is also considered
Solid understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Experience in an SME or growing business
Confident, solutions-focused and self-motivated
