PRACTICE BUSINESS MANAGER
Full-time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Practice Business Manager at Southgates and The Woottons Surgeries, a 10-partner practice providing a caring, patient-focused, and efficient service to over 23,000 patients.
The practice operates across two sites: Southgates Surgery, located in the historic Southgate area of Kings Lynn, and The Woottons Surgery, approximately four miles away in North Wootton.
The practice runs a popular surgical unit offering a variety of surgical treatments and advice on a referral basis. They have a team of well-respected surgeons and theatre staff working in a CQC-regulated service.
The partners are looking for an exceptional leader with strong business management and financial skills, preferably with a degree-level qualification in finance or accounting. It is essential that they have previous experience in financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, maximizing income, cash flow, and identifying new business opportunities, as well as an understanding of strategic management, team management, HR, project management, and public relations.
The successful candidate will need to work collaboratively with the partners, both as a group and individually, to develop and implement strategies. They will lead a large practice team, including departmental managers and the surgical team.
It is essential that the new manager can ensure the smooth running of the practice, working closely with the Primary Care Network (PCN), exploring opportunities for collaborative working and new services. They will review staffing structures and building utilization, proposing and implementing changes where required.
The partners are open to change and looking to develop future systems, new business opportunities, and services to enhance patient satisfaction and financial stability.
Previous primary care management experience is not essential; however, individuals without primary care experience must demonstrate transferable skills and knowledge.
