Position:
We’re looking for a Content Writer with excellent writing skills and a strong intuition for news trends, to work on digital titles across several platforms, including Apple News. You will be working on the weekly lifestyle magazine, Gathered, as well as other award-winning media brands based in Bristol.
Working closely with the Head of Content, you will help create engaging features from idea generation right through to publication, covering a wide range of lifestyle topics including health, mindfulness, beauty and relationships. This fast-paced role is exciting and varied, and we’re looking for individual who is highly organised, has an exceptional attention to detail and is constantly in touch with the latest topics of the moment.
You’ll bring plenty of ideas and be experienced enough to write accurate and engaging copy that is supported by expert commentary, as well as help sub content, commission content, source images and generate attention-grabbing headlines.

Requirements:
Essential
* A background in journalism with a natural talent and genuine enthusiasm for creating engaging news content.
* The ability to write compelling features across a wide range of topics and build relationships with the very best industry experts.
* Brilliant communication skills.
* Able to be self-motivated, and work well as a team in a fast-paced environment, reacting to news and analytics to quickly to deliver great content to our readers.
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy, especially when working to tight deadlines.
Desirable
* An understanding of Apple News+ and awareness of best practises for creating editorial content for industry digital platforms, including websites.
