Job Duties:
1. Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons
2. Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials
3. Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties
4. Supervising students during activities and break times
5. Assisting with student assessments and record keeping
Required Qualifications:
6. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
7. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
8. Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with children in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Understanding of child development and learning processes
10. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to work well in a team
12. Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
13. First Aid certification
14. Additional relevant training or qualifications in education or childcare
Working Conditions:
15. Working hours may vary and could include occasional evening or weekend work
16. Work will be conducted in a classroom environment with young children
17. May involve some physical activities such as setting up classroom equipment
