About Us
Made in the Cellar is a family-run, independently owned furniture business based in Sheffield. Since 2012, we've been designing and handcrafting solid wood dining tables, cabinetry and bespoke furniture from our workshop and showroom under one roof.
We specialise in traditional furniture with a modern feel, made from character grade Pine and Oak, built to order and designed to last. Every piece is finished by hand, and every customer speaks directly to a real person — not a call centre.
As a growing business, we've expanded our workshop, team and showroom. Now we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us — someone organised, creative and commercially minded who enjoys variety and responsibility.
This isn't just an admin role. It's a pivotal position within a small, ambitious business where no two days are the same.

Once fully trained, you will also take the lead on planning, styling, photographing and posting social media content, as well as creating Mailchimp campaigns to generate revenue and nurture our customer base.
You must be comfortable working independently.

The Person
This role would suit someone who:
* Is ideally university educated or has previous sales experience within the furniture, interiors or home improvement sector (or similar)

* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Is confident speaking to customers both in person and over the phone
* Can manage difficult conversations professionally and calmly
* Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently
* Has strong time management skills and can prioritise effectively
* Has a genuine interest in interiors, furniture and styling

* Has experience using Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop for marketing materials (preferred but not essential)
* Is confident using AI tools to support content creation, marketing or business efficiency (preferred but not essential)
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who cares — about presentation, about customer experience and about being part of a growing independent business.
