Job Title: Registered Care Manager
Location: Sellindge, Kent
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced care leader with a passion for delivering high-quality services and empowering adults with complex needs? We’re seeking a Registered Care Manager to lead a well-established residential service in Sellindge, Kent, supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service delivery, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and resident wellbeing in a vibrant, person-centred care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational leadership to ensure high-quality care
Manage staffing, supervision, and performance to uphold care standards
Lead person-centred care planning and risk assessments
Maintain compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and safeguarding requirements
Foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for service users
Oversee budget management, health & safety, and facility maintenance
Liaise professionally with families, commissioners, and regulatory bodies
Lead recruitment processes and contribute to staff development strategies
Uphold robust record-keeping and reporting processes
Participate in the area’s on-call management rota
Support with disciplinary, grievance and HR procedures when required
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in managing adult residential care or supported living
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
Strong understanding of safeguarding and CQC regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A calm, confident approach under pressure
Commitment to continuous improvement and person-centred care
