About the School: Our SEND school caters to children aged 6-16, offering them a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You will join the dedicated group of teachers and support staff and will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of these students. Every child has an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), ensuring personalized support.
Working Hours: 8.30-15.30 Monday to Friday term time only
Competitive pay: £99-£110 per day
Start Date: March 27th, 2026
Placement: long term, till the end of the school year
Your Role: As a teaching assistant, you'll work closely with a teacher and another teaching assistant in a very small size class with children who might be of different age but similar educational and development level. Your role is instrumental in providing individualized support, managing spontaneous, compulsive, and challenging behaviour, and facilitating learning activities.

Requirements:
* Ideally, you hold a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
* Previous experience working in UK schools is highly desirable.
* Previous experience working with vulnerable young adults is preferred.
* Familiarity with the UK curriculum is advantageous.
* Immediate availability for interviews and start date.
