Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
A leading independent accountancy firm in Manchester is looking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and ambitious audit professional to take a key role within a progressive and forward-thinking firm.
You'll be working with a diverse and dynamic client base, ranging from local owner-managed businesses to larger groups, subsidiaries of international companies, not-for-profits and PLCs.

What you'll be doing
* Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors
* Planning and leading audits from start to finish, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
* Reviewing audit files prepared by the team and providing constructive feedback
* Leading and developing junior team members, providing training and support
* Acting as the main point of contact for your clients, developing strong relationships and understanding their needs
* Supporting the Partners with business development and tender opportunities
* Working closely with other departments to ensure a joined-up service offering
What we're looking for
* ACA/ACCA qualified with strong audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Experience managing audits from planning through to completion
* Proven ability to supervise, motivate and develop junior team members
* Excellent communication skills, with a confident and client-focused approach
* Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
* Experience with audit software and cloud accounting systems (e.g. CaseWare, Xero, Sage)
