About the Role The University Parks Team has care of the University Parks and all the University’s green functional estate. This includes the green spaces around all University departmental buildings. The department also runs a substantial contract business that accounts for at least half of the department’s activity. The post holder will report to the Parks management team, carrying out practical work activities and working as part of a team are the key attributes to this role. About You
9. A craft qualification (e.g. NVQ or City & Guilds) in horticulture or other land-based work
10. A good and demonstrable knowledge of horticultural practices
11. Experience in the use and operation of a broad range of horticultural, landscape and grounds care equipment
12. Good plant knowledge
13. Full driving licence
14. A flexible approach to the work required.
