Norwich City Football Club’s Academy are seeking family homes to provide care and accommodation for our talented young academy players aged between 13 and 18 years of age. Many need to live away from home to undertake training at the Lotus Training Centre and attend Ormiston Victory Academy or City of Norwich School, our partnered education providers. We pride ourselves on providing quality care which gives our players a chance to thrive and develop their futures. First team stars such as Jonathan Rowe and Adam Idah have resided within our Care and Accommodation Programme, which has been instrumental in their development. Key tasks and responsibilities for care and accommodation providers include: The provision of high-quality standards of care and accommodation emotional and physical support, aimed at encouraging the full potential of each young person ensuring that our young people are kept safe from harm and abuse working with the club and those with parental responsibility to promote wellbeing and speak up, where required to work alongside academy staff in evaluating the impact of the care and accommodation provision on you and your family developing skills required for the role and to complete a mandatory care and accommodation training framework as required For this role, Norwich City Academy are seeking people who possess empathetic and caring qualities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills; people who can remain non-judgemental, inclusive, and respectful towards all individuals whilst remaining calm and patient when responding to children and young people’s behaviour. Care and Accommodation Providers will be offered a one-year contract, on an annual rolling basis. We are also interested in receiving applications from those willing and suitable to provide accommodation on a casual / holiday cover / trial cover basis.
