Class 1 Driver - Bristol (Severn Beach)
Pay: £21.29 / hour including advanced holiday pay
Hours: Full-Time, day shifts
Shifts: Mon - Fri, 09:00 starts
Runs to Coventry and back to Bristol
Join Gi Group and work with one of the UKs leading parcel delivery companies. Out client provides domestic and international deliveries for high-volume business customers.
Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver
1. Load / unload freight and secure loads
2. Delivering safely to both customers and businesses
3. Ensure accurate completion of documentation
4. Perform vehicle checks and report defects
5. Work efficiently to meet deadlines
What you'll need as a Class 1 Driver
1. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license + Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
2. Minimum 2 years Class 1 license + 6 months Class 1 driving experience
3. Max 6 SP penalty points accepted (no other endorsements)
4. Reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, and safety-focused
5. Strapping experience preferred (training available if required)
6. DBS check required
7. 2 years of work / education history
