What is the job role?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player and a great communicator to join our service. 

You will be responsible for dealing with applications for school places and travel passes. You will have the ability to understand, interpret and explain complex statutory guidelines to parents, school staff, and other education colleagues. You will have strong IT skills, showing accuracy and a great eye for detail.

This role is fixed-term for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).


Who are we looking for?

You will have strong IT skills, preferably with experience of Capita ONE or similar admissions software. Working with parents and schools in this customer service role you will need:

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to work in a pressurised environment, meeting deadlines and managing time effectively
3. A flexible and positive approach to teamwork
