What you'll be doing In this role, your goal is to service the production line with materials as per line schedule in a timely manner to avoid any downtime waiting for raw materials.To inform the Production Supervisor of any problems concerning raw material availability that may affect the quality of the lines finished product and efficiency of the lineCommunication with production managers and CoordinatorsLocating & batching raw materials ready for the next runEnsuring these batched items are the correct code with useable shelf lifeTransporting these materials to the line on change overRemoving materials from the previous run from the line`topping up' materials on the line to ensure sufficient stock is available for use during each production runTo ensure adherence to all appropriate systems and procedures; HACCP and H&SYou'll also be making sure that your job is done to a high degree of accuracy and speed in line with company expectationsOperating Production MachinesWorking as part of a team to ensure the product / Line runs as it shouldWorking as part of a teamFollowing instructions and proceduresSpotting problems What we're looking forFull training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:Prior experience as a machine operatorStrong knowledge of a heavy duty and high-speed machineryStrong ability to use measurement toolsGood understanding of production procedures and best practicesExcellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulationsAbility to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooksGood physical stamina and keen attention to detailWe're not all the same at Greencore and our differences help us to make everyday taste better for all our stakeholders.
