Overview
We are recruiting 1 part-time Wake and Watch staff to provide overnight support for individuals who have learning disabilities and complex behaviour needs. Usual working hours will be 10pm until 8am.
Key Accountabilities
* Support people with disabilities, including individuals with profound and complex needs, using person centred approaches to enable people to achieve positive outcomes as defined in their support plan
* Support people with dignity and respect in order to meet their day to day needs
* Work in accordance with relevant national legislation and service-specific policies and practice guidelines at all times
Skills and Experience
* Experience of working with adults who have a learning disability is desirable but not essential as you will be given the necessary support and training to undertake this role
* Applicants who do not hold NVQ Level 3 at the time of appointment will be required to complete QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within the first 2 years of employment. Care Certificate training is also provided. Please note all training will be funded by the Service
