Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Manager working at a private educational establishment in West London. This is a hands on role where you would be working as part of a small team to ensure the safeguarding of all students within the premises. As Security Manager you would also be responsible for coordinating the team in their day to day tasks. Your duties would include planning and implementing security strategies, leading security personnel, conducting risk assessments, and liaising with clients to meet their security needs. The Security Manager will also be expected to stay updated on the latest security trends and regulations.
Duties
· Provide training, mentoring and support for the team - Security rules – Health & Safety
· Provide support for Estates Director / Facilities Department / Sports Centre
· Admin Duties – Sign off overtime, booking in weekend security via the office and plan holiday schedules
· Regular meetings with the client Estates Director or FM
· Oversee control of access to the site for all students, staff, contractors and visitors
· Insuring policies & procedures are kept up and followed by the team with Concierge Service - Porter – Escorting visitors/Contractors
· Daily walks around site – Looking at ways to improve security along with health & safety
· Regular CCTV monitoring and daily patrols and get around the 12 buildings
· Provide support to the clients via email or over phone when required – Customer focused
· Work closely with Admission – Drama – School Office – Estates when events are taking place and book extra security staff as required
· Provide the team with daily tasks to complete
· Work closely with Cleaning Manager on site
· Provide support for Facilities on weekly fire alarm test & 6 monthly fire drills
· Dealing with all contractors and suppliers
· Summer holiday schedules – Working on lockers & stationery distribution and supporting the sport centre with holiday groups and camps.
Qualifications

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Experience in the security industry at supervisory/management level is essential, ideally gained from working within educational environments
* All staff working at this site must undergo enhanced DBS clearance
* SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licence
